A video, reflected in mirrors, considering the etymology of the words, speak, listen, silence, understand.

Forgetting

An installation composed of floating Van Dyke prints on wood from photo images that had corresponding poetry in a book across the room.

Magic Hands

A video projection of fairly silly magic tricks done with green screen. The video was projected out of a gallery space to a busy street in downtown Sacramento.

Seen But Not Heard

A projection out to the street of younger people talking about what they think is wrong with the world these days. Inside there was no sound, either, but the participants had written a thought or two on the wall surrounding the video image.

Moose

For the final day of an exhibition at The Vermont Studio Center that changed the space entirely every day for six days, I created a projection of the (otherwise very elusive) Vermont moose. Residents of the artist community interacted with it.

Arriving

A black-lit installation of floating images of the universe, underneath them and so reflected in the mirror below were figures in the fetal position.

Goodbye

The Love of Making

A mobile, that reflected in a mirror, with photos of my palette on one side of suspended glass tiles and details of artwork on the other.

As Above, So Below

A painting exhibition in which the paintings were reflected in the mirrors below. The mirrors had writing on them from the written work that inspired the paintings.
