Installation
My artwork has always been, in one way or another, about space: the relationship between the individual and the environment, the internal space of thought and sensation, the sense that thought itself travels out into actual, physical space.
It was and is inevitable that I should begin to want to manipulate space, to help 'the mind's eye' travel outword into the world, to invite people into my thoughts.
Some of these pieces include projections of videos or video poetry. Some use photographic images that themselves derive from various sources. My work is becoming more and more recursive. There is no linear path of process anymore. Everything is generative. And I am fine with that.
