Magic Hands2012 Panama Gallery Sacramento, CA This 14 minute video uses simple green screen technology to create magic tricks visible from a major street in downtown Sacramento. Extremely random images would appear on the 'magic cards' or 'magic balls.' The piece was meant simply to be playful and give a nod to the many delightful surprises in life. | The Root of Speech2014 Panama Gallery, Sacramento, CA Video, Spoken Narration, Mirrors A video installation exploring the etymology of the words "speech", "understand", "listen", etc. was projected in a small room at Panama Arts Collective. Very quiet narration accompanied the piece. Viewers could walk around the mirrors on the floor. | Separated from Self2007 Digital photograph |
